"That's ILL BRO"

This piece was inspired by Nas's Illmatic album + Andy Warhol's Brillo Box art. These 2 artists seemed like 2 different expressions, but to me I saw a relationship between the 2 (even if just in word play) that's my gift as an artist to bring ideas or concepts together and make them work.
The painting was made on a found piece of a wood crate top, and I used acrylic paint to create this masterpiece.
